Make an Offering: How will you make an offering today?

Read the Bible Together

John 4:1-42
Spark Story Bible – Woman at the Well, pg 338

Talk About It!

What does it mean to be thirsty? What do you sound like when you’re thirsty? Can you remember a time you had to wait for something to drink? How did you feel when you finally got your drink?

In today’s Bible story Jesus was thirsty. So he stopped by a well and ask a woman with a bucket for a drink. They ended up talking about how God’s love for us is like “living water”, meaning when we’re filled up with His love we’d never be thirsty again. God’s love fills us up with peace, joy and love. What a great promise from Jesus!

Digging deeper: Water is an important part of our everyday life. How many ways can you think of that you use water throughout the day? Are there ways you conserve water? Talk about ways your family can celebrate God’s blessing of water.

Family Activity Choices

Pick activities to do together! Supplies are provided in our Monthly At-Home Kits you picked up at our drive thru events or ask to have delivered to your home.

Activity 1: Blessing Well – Find something to build a pretend well – legos, play bricks or even blankets can work. Once your well is built, find some coins and instead of throwing them in your well for wishes, say a blessing that God gives you

Activity 2: Water Quiz– Try out our Water Quiz HERE and see if you know how water is used around the world!

Pray Together

Dear God, thank you that you fill our heart with Your “living water” of love! Amen.”

Bless Each Other

At the end of your time, give each other a special blessing to remember one of God’s promises.

Twinkle your hands, then say “God fills you with living water!”
