Worship at Nativity
Nativity loves and accepts people as they are and wherever they are in their spiritual journey.
At Nativity we realize that a first visit can be intimidating so we want to make your visit one of welcome. We look forward to meeting you! Pastor Glenn and other staff are available before and after for comments and questions.
- 5:30 p.m.
A casual come-as-you-are service with a variety of music from around the world plus popcorn to munch on. Holy Communion is celebrated every week. Children are welcome.
- 8:00 a.m.
A traditional service with Holy Communion.
- 9:00 am & 10:30 a.m.
Services that blend together a variety of music and worship styles. Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of the month and on festival Sundays. The participation of children in worship is encouraged; there is a time during the service when the children are invited to come forward for a special activity. Child care is available at the 9 & 10:30 a.m. services.
Sundays in the Fellowship Hall – 10:40am
Worship 1040 is a community of believers, but we relate to God a little differently. We set up shop in our Fellowship Hall rather than our sanctuary. We include the “usual” (communion, prayers, music, and sermons) and we courageously offer the “unusual” – interfaith learning, giving transparency, open dialogue, and experiential learning. Come in your PJs rather than Sundays Best, roll around on the floor with your little ones in the “Kidz Zone” while listening to the sermon, explore spirituality with your friends at round tables, listen to the band (drums, bass, piano, ukulele, and of course voice!); our informal atmosphere welcomes all on whatever journey of faith because….
Matthew 10:40 “Whoever welcomes you, welcomes me. And whoever welcomes me, welcomes the one who sent me.”
