LUTHER PARK BIBLE CAMP AND RETREAT CENTER

lutherpark.com

Luther Park Camping and Retreat Center is a cooperative ministry of ELCA congregations with a mission to provide an environment in which the Christian faith can be strengthened and people of all ages may grow in their personal relationship with God.

Luther Park celebrated its 63rd anniversary in 2021. This center is more than a summer camp; it is also a year-round retreat center hosting families, adults, confirmation groups and work gatherings.

Nativity Lutheran Church has been a member congregation for more than 30 years. Each year 30 of our children go to camp, 35 children attend Luther day camps at Nativity, and both youth and adults from Nativity participate in retreats at Luther Park’s retreat center.

KEY CONTACTS

LUTHERAN COLLEGE AND SEMINARY SCHOLARSHIP

Each year Nativity Lutheran Church awards college scholarships to qualified Nativity students attending ELCA Lutheran colleges or Seminaries. The funds for these scholarships come from interest earned by education-related funds in the Church’s Endowment Fund. Most Lutheran colleges have scholarship “Match Programs” which stretch our scholarship dollars.

Applications for the scholarships are completed by the end of April and awards are announced in late May.

All three expressions share a common mission of doing God’s work in the world by proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ and the confidence of God’s Grace.

ELCA congregations, including Nativity Lutheran Church, are centers where people of faith celebrate, learn and connect with one another and others around the world through weekly worship and service.
