Nativity Mental Health Connect would like to share a special educational opportunity presented by Lutheran Social Services of Minnesota.

Supporting Youth Safety & Healthy Choices in the Virtual Playground

January 21, 2023, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Cherish All Children invites you to our 6th annual community education event. Faith leaders, parents, grandparents, youth leaders, mentors — this event is for you! As technology continues to evolve, learn how you can support youth in developing a healthy sense of self and staying clear of online exploitation. This event is offered both in person and virtually.

Keynote Speakers:

Alison Feigh, Director of the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center, a program of the Zero Abuse Project

Alison will lead us through “Navigating the Virtual Playground: Healthy Choices and Worrisome Pitfalls for Today’s Youth.” Cyberbullying, texting, screen time, toxic images — youth can find themselves in over their heads as technology choices move faster than their developmental abilities.

Joy McElroy, Director of Cherish All Children

Joy will lead us in activities from Cherish All Children’s Safe and Healthy Relationships Youth Guide, focusing on online safety. You’ll leave with new knowledge and resources to make a difference in the lives of young people, understanding the role you can play in keeping youth safer in their online world.
