Worship Together
Share in some faith practices of worship together!
Shine a Light: Make a light (candle, flashlight, light switch) and say, “Jesus is the light of the world!”
Sing Together: “Do My Best” Love, I’ll love, I’ll love you Lord forever. Love, I’ll love, I’ll love you Lord forever. I’ll do my best. I’ll do my best, woah-oh-oh. I’ll do my best for you! Make an Offering: How will you make an offering today?
Read the Bible Together
Talk About It!
Jesus told his disciples that he was going to his Father’s house. What do you think God’s house looks like? How many rooms are there? What does God’s house smell like? What foods might be there? What might you hear in God’s house?
When Jesus told his disciples that he was going to prepare a room for them in God’s house, they were worried that they wouldn’t know the way, and that there wouldn’t be room for them. What did Jesus tell them? Is there a room for you in God’s house?
Family Activity Choices
Pick activities to do together! Supplies are provided in our Monthly At-Home Kits you picked up at our drive thru events or ask to have delivered to your home.
Activity: Build a house with many rooms Using materials in your home (blocks, Lego, dominoes, blankets), build a house with many rooms. When you have finished, recite this Bible verse, “My father’s house has many rooms.” John 14:2
Activity 2: Big House Enjoy this gem from the ‘90s by Audio Adrenaline! It’s a catchy song with a wonderful message. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7JfK9dgR5U
Pray Together
“Dear Jesus, thank you that there is always room for me in Your house! Amen”
Bless Each Other
At the end of your time, give each other a special blessing to remember one of God’s promises.
Go on either side of a door, one person knock, the other one open the door and say “I’m so glad you’re here!”
