Club 56 – New Life Together!

Happy Easter!

The Lord has risen! He has risen indeed, hallelujah!

If you are staying home this Easter Sunday or traveling, we wish you the very best!

As we’ve slowly come out of the pandemic, we have witnessed the ways that our community cares deeply for one another. Things may never be the way they were before, but we can be assured of the love of God, and the community that we celebrate together. You can watch the Nativity service here: Live stream

Club 56 at home is all about life after death this week. After you watched the message from Pastor Glenn, you can use the next activities to take your experience of the scripture a little bit deeper.

  1. Read the scripture below.
  2. Use creativity and imagination to rewrite the two parts in 6 words or less.

  • The Empty Tomb – John 20:1-10 – Can you tell this in 6 words?
  • Jesus Appears to Mary Magdalene – John 20:11-20 What 6 words would you use here?

When you pray…

Maybe you’re inspired to write or speak your own, if so, please do so! If you’d like to try something different…

Imagine that you were one of the first people who saw Jesus after he was resurrected. Write down the first words that you would say to Jesus. Use those words each day to pray this week.

If you have a student in Grade 5 or 6, sign them up for Club 56 today! If you have questions about this resource or would like additional information, please contact Heather or Pastor Ben.
