Braiding Sweetgrass Community Meal & Vigil

Nov. 29th, 5:30-6:30 pm | Fellowship Hall

Community is built around shared tables and shared wisdom, so we’re inviting YOU to join us for a meal that feeds more than just our bodies. On Nov. 29th. we’re gathering for our Community Meal, a time of togetherness, reflection, and hope.

We’ll be exploring the themes of “Braiding Sweetgrass”, a book that has touched many of our hearts with its profound wisdom over the past month. But don’t worry if you haven’t read the book – there’s a place for you at our table too! The ideas of reciprocity, gratitude, and love for the Earth are universal, and we all have something valuable to bring to the discussion and our intergenerational activities that evening.

During our meal, we’ll also hold a prayer vigil, a space for us to share our hopes and dreams, and to stand together in unity and compassion. So, mark your calendars and set your reminders – let’s come together to fill our plates and our minds. Contact Dr. Kelly Sherman-Conroy for questions: Kelly@NativityChurch.org.
