In the Gospel of John, Jesus promises his disciples and us, that the Holy Spirit will live among us and provide comfort and guidance. But who is this Spirit? Why haven’t we, as Lutherans, spent more time learning about this advocate? Is the Spirit as present now as during the years of the early Christian Church?
