Talk About It!
This year we’ve had a lot of fun looking at some of the BIG stories of the Bible. Think back to some of your favorites. All those stories are filled with people who were filled with God’s love and shared it with others through love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. All those things are what the Apostle Paul called “the fruit of the spirit,” which simply means ways God designed in each and everyone of us to share His love. Sometimes it’s super easy, like giving someone a hug is “gentleness”. But sometimes it’s hard, like giving someone else a turn first is “patience”. Where have you seen the fruit of God’s Spirit of love this summer?
Digging deeper: This weekend we’re celebrating that Nativity is now a RIC Congregation, and we aspire to continue the work of welcoming, including, celebrating, and advocating for LGBTQIA+ people in this faith community and the greater church. How does this make you feel? What are some ways your family works towards being welcoming and inclusive?

Bless Each Other
At the end of your time, give each other a special blessing to remember one of God’s promises.
It’s still Eastertide, so say “Jesus is risen!” and respond “He is risen indeed!”
