Today’s God’s Great Story is in Paul’s Letter to the church in Corinth
1 Corinthians 1:10-18 sounds a bit like a parent scolding their children
that Paul boils down to the need to follow the Gospel of God’s love
What do you say when you’re exasperated with dissention?
How do you weed through the lies to find the truth?
Have you found it harder in you home these days? the news and social media?
How do you remind yourself to God’s love and loving others?
Serenity Prayer
Say/color/meditate on the Serenity Prayer on the following page.
How would you interpret it for yourself these days? Mine would look like:
“Grant me the serenity to not read the comments, the courage to not read the comments, and
the wisdom to not read the comments.” because the horrible things people comment on news
posts on social media really breaks my heart and is hard for me to not carry with me throughout
the day.”
