November Is Homelessness & Housing Outreach Month

Nov

Throughout November, the Homelessness and Housing Outreach Team will be hosting panel conversations, guest speakers, tables in the Commons, and more. It’s a chance for our community to better understand critical issues around housing and ways we can work to address them. Please join us!

All Month Long:

Homelessness and Housing Outreach Teams and community partners will be featured in the Commons before and after weekend worship hours.

November 4 & 5:

During the prayers for All Saints’ Weekend, people who have passed away while experiencing homelessness will be lifted up.

November 11 & 12:

During Worship: We will have a special video testimony from a Nativity member who will speak to their own personal journey of experiencing homelessness.

In the Fellowship Hall: From 9:00-10:00 am on Sunday, join a Special Panel Conversation featuring several local leaders who have dedicated their professional lives to supporting those experiencing homelessness.

November 18 & 19:

During Worship: We’ll welcome a special guest preacher from Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative, joining our faith and work to eradicating homelessness in Minnesota.

In the Fellowship Hall: From 9:00-10:00 am on Sunday, join a Special Panel Presentation from Solid Ground, an award-winning Minnesota non-profit that supports families in creating the strong foundations they need to move out of homelessness and thrive.
