Worship Together
Share in some faith practices of worship together!
Shine a Light: Light a candle or find a flashlight. Take turns saying, “Jesus is the light of the world!”
Sing Together: This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine!
Make an Offering: How will you make an offering today? An offering is not always money. You can also offer your time, support, or creativity to improve the lives of others.

In the beginning God made the seas and the forest filled with trees.
He made the mountains up so high and at the top He placed the skies.
His fingerprints are everywhere just to show how much He cares.

Read the Bible Together
Read this week’s God’s Great Story in the children’s Bible for you child’s age.
Frolic Bible (received at Baptism) “Creation” on the first page
Spark Story Bible (received at 3 years old) “Creation” on page 7 thru “Adam & Eve” on page 13
Bible (Adventure Bibles received in 3rd Grade) Genesis chapter 1
3 Year Olds and 3rd Graders will receive their New Bibles as part of our Milestone Ministry this fall.
Talk About It!
Have fun asking question for all your family members!
What are you favorites things that God created:
– What’s you favorite part of daytime? What do you like about night time?
– What’s your favorite things in nature?
– What’s you favorite land animal? sea animal? sky animal?
How has God created you special? Let others say what they think is special about you too!
How can we use what’s special about us and what we like to create to be “God’s hands” in our homes, neighborhood and the world?
Dig Deeper: What do you like to create? What categories did everyone come up with? Art? Food? Music? Games? Other? Take a moment and share how your various creations bring joy to others.
Family Activity Choices
Pick activities to do together! Supplies are provided in our Monthly At-Home Kits you picked up at our drive thru events or ask to have delivered to your home.
Do the dough! Get some play dough and start creating! Feeling unartistic? Start simple – take a small ball of dough, press your thumbs down in the middle and form a bird nest. Step two – roll several smaller balls of dough and make little eggs for the nest. Step three – try making the bird! No matter how it turns out, spending time together and squishing dough can be very relaxing!
As you like it: Print the attached worksheet, (or use the one in your drive-up kit) and complete the drawing of the half-formed animals. You decide if you want them to look realistic or if you change them into a creation all your own!
