The war in Ukraine has left the world stunned in disbelief. Millions of people are seeking refuge in neighboring countries. Many of the Ukrainians fleeing their homes need shelter and such necessities as food, water, and toiletries. Care for people also includes pastoral and psychological support to address the trauma they’ve endured. In Micah 6:8 we hear God’s reminder to the prophet, “What does the Lord require of you? Love kindness, do justice, and walk humbly with God.” An arm of our Lutheran Church, Lutheran Disaster Relief, is doing just that. Please consider making a financial gift to support this important work. Make the gift out to Nativity with the memo, Disaster Relief Ukraine, and we will send it on. Thank you.
