COVID has reduced average weekly attendance for the 8:00 am worship hour to 7-17 attendees. This is far below the weekly average of 40, which has been set as the number needed to sustain a worship hour. As a result, the Nativity Council, in consultation with Nativity staff, has recommended suspending 8:00 am worship beginning February 6, 2022.
A worship schedule task force has been formed to review the weekly worship schedule offerings. Nativity Council and staff are very aware of the impact this decision has on those who usually attend the 8:00 am worship. Pastor Glenn has personally reached out to those individuals and families who regularly attend that hour.
