Help Out at Safe House

Saturday, June 6, 9:00 am – Noon
Join us for yard work (planting, raking, etc.) at the LSS Safe House shelter to support teens who are experiencing homelessness and remind them that they are loved. We will carpool from Nativity at 8:30 am. Please bring whatever garden tools you have. We will provide water and snacks. Contact Gail Bergsven at ggantz1@aol.com or 651-329-4446 to let us know you are joining or to reach out with questions.

Have Old Instruments to Donate?

Roy, the LSS Safehouse manager, shares that many of the teens currently living at Safehouse are musically inclined. Roy is a music major and added that he’s happy to give music lessons to the teens if instruments can be collected. At the top of the wish list is a keyboard, but any and all instruments would be enjoyed and appreciated. The instrument drive is a collaborative effort between Nativity’s Mental Health Connect and Homelessness Outreach Teams. Instruments can be dropped off at the Welcome Desk around weekend worship times and during business hours through Friday, June 5.
