The Nativity community has a “heart” for those experiencing homelessness, and we work to recognize and respond to the reality that many people are unable to acquire and maintain regular, safe, and adequate housing. Learn more about these ministries at the Welcome Desk following worship!
Create Kits for Unhoused People
Sunday, November 8 | After Both Worship Hours | Commons
A fun and meaningful project for kids and adults! Join in making kits for those experiencing homelessness that contain essentials like socks, flashlights, lotion, lip balm, hand sanitizer, and granola bars.
Make a Meal for Safe House
Is cooking your love language? Sign up to make a Wednesday night meal for Safe House residents: 6 unhoused teens and 2 staff. Safe House is an LSS teen shelter that Nativity has partnered with for nearly 20 years.
Sponsor Thanksgiving for Safe House
Each year Nativity’s Homelessness & Housing team purchases a Thanksgiving dinner and delivers it to Safe House. Make a contribution at the Welcome Desk or include your gift with the offering, noting “Safe House Thanksgiving” in the memo line.
