Community Events

Neighborhood Extravaganza

Every year on the second Wednesday of July, Nativity partners with Windom Park in Northeast Minneapolis to throw the biggest party we can! It’s a no-strings-attached gathering with free food, entertainment, and activities for anyone and everyone in the local community. We average 300-400 people each year and growing! It’s a great way to meet our neighbors and connect as people.

VillageFest Parade

Every year on the first Friday in August, Nativity walks in the local Saint Anthony VillageFest Parade. We show our pride in being a valued part of the community while showing love to as many people in attendance as possible through candy, smiles, waves, and brief interactions. We always have a good time, represent our church and faith community well, and invite anyone and everyone to enjoy the excitement and walk with us!

God’s Work. Our Hands.

Every year on the first Saturday and Sunday in September, we gather as a community to be the hands and feet of Jesus! We do service, advocacy, and charity projects in and outside our building. We try to raise awareness of issues facing the community and our opportunities to collaboratively address them. We make the most of this weekend by being there for our community in God’s name. And it’s always a lot of fun!

Trunk-or-Treat

Every year before Halloween, an abundance of Nativity staff and volunteers throw an awesome trunk or treat event for the surrounding community! We have a large parking lot full of robust trunks decorated for family fun, activities, and free food. We average 400-500 people each year, and all are encouraged to join the fun!
