An Advent Concert with Jeanne Cotter

Enjoy an Advent evening of story, song, and prayer with Nativity’s own Jeanne Cotter, along with Tony Alonso, at the Historic Paramount Theatre in Austin, Minnesota. The performance will be held on Saturday, December 4, at 7:30 p.m. The doors will open at 7:00 p.m.

Jeanne Cotter is a very talented and active singer-songwriter and a prominent liturgical composer. Jeanne also conducts retreats for keyboardists, singers, vocalists, and composers. She is the author of Keyboard Improvisation for the Liturgical Musician (GIA).

Tony Alonso is a Latin Grammy nominated composer of sacred music and a scholar whose work responds to the diverse realities of contemporary culture. A Cuban-American Roman Catholic, Tony’s compositions embrace multicultural musical expressions and reflect a commitment to strong ritual song. His “Mass of Joy and Peace” is one of the most widely sung Mass settings in the United States.
