In the month of March the Hunger Outreach Team at Nativity will be offering
opportunities to participate and support various hunger activities. Visit an information
table set up in the commons to learn more and sign up for volunteer opportunities.
- Nativity will be having a food and monetary drive during March for local food
shelves. A table will be set up in the narthex for food donations. Cash gifts are
especially appreciated and can be put in the offering plate. Make checks to
Nativity and write Little Kitchen or NEED in the memo line. (One dollar donated
can buy $9 in food by food pantry staff.) - Sign up to be a Little Kitchen food pantry volunteer at table set up in commons
and/or use tear off sheet in News to Notes. - Donate birthday party supplies for the food pantries with an assembly of
donations into birthday bags. (Birthday gift bag, cake mix, frosting, candles,
plates, and napkins for a birthday party.) - Sign up to provide a meal for Safe House youth shelter at table set up in
commons. - Sign up for Feed My Starving Children packing event with fellow Nativity people
on March 10 from 4:30-6:30. Contact Leah Reddy to register
