Our guest preacher for this weekend (May 8-9, 2021) is the Rev. Katie Slack. Many of you many remember Katie from a preaching series on the book of Ruth she did here at Nativity in the summer of 2018. She serves as a pediatric staff chaplain at Children’s MN – Minneapolis campus hospital. Though she covers all units of the hospital, she primarily works with oncology and hematology patients and their families and has been with Children’s for over two years.
Rev. Slack lives in White Bear Lake with her husband, Patrick, and their four sons. She and her family love spending time in nature, snuggling up with good books, and cheering on the Minnesota Twins.
Rev. Slack is very grateful for the chance to join the Nativity community once again for worship.
