Days for Girls Update and Sewing Event

Thank You, Nativity!

During March 2025, Nancy Laible and a travel team ventured into a ‘tin shack’ Barrio within Santa Cruz, Costa Rica, to deliver female hygiene information and supplies. The team delivered 30 DFG kits to the young mothers who live in the flimsy and unsanitary housing units. The kits were part of the on-going DFG sewing projects at Nativity. There was no classroom facility in this poor neighborhood, so an ‘outdoor classroom’ was assembled with a folding table and plastic chairs, the primary furnishings of many of the shanty homes. Thank you to Days of Girls volunteers for their work on these sewing projects.
