Making Sense of Our Emotions

I am generally aware of my feelings and emotions, but not always especially when I am in my “taking care of business mode”.  You know, the beware man on a mission disposition. My wife helps me pay attention to my emotions.  On Tuesday last week she asked, “Are you aware that you are really crabby?” […]

We are taking this step not out of fear, but rather as a way […]

LENT 2020 – Put On The Robe Of Grace

LENT is a unique time of reflection before the celebration of Easter. “Put On the Robe of Grace” is our 2020 Lenten theme. The theme comes from the “prodigal son” story recorded in Luke 15:20-24.  In the story, the youngest son rebels with reckless living. Eventually realizing his poor choices and the mistakes made, he […]

Announcing my Deacon Internship at Nativity for 2020

I feel called to serve on the forefront of Outreach and Community Engagement. I strive to support people’s self-empowerment in ‘shining light’ into the lives of our community,  as Jesus has done for so many of us. This light comes in the form of hope, love, healing, and service. Or, however feel called to define […]
