Four Sundays, beginning November 9th, 4:00-5:00 pm | Zoom
Nativity is invited to join Redeemer Lutheran Church for a book study of their longtime member and activist T Williams’s book, Rewind: Lessons from Fifty Years of Activism. The author will participate in each session.
T’s book is described as “an accomplished Black activist’s valuable insights on navigating crises, building networks, and maintaining community—from the foment of the 1960’s to the present—underscoring the urgency of conversations about race in our society today.”
The group will meet via Zoom every two weeks beginning Sunday, November 9, covering the following:
Nov. 9—Chapters 1-4
Nov. 23—Chapters 5-10
Dec. 7—Chapters 11-15
Dec. 21—Chapters 16-26
If you are unable to attend the first meeting this weekend, you’re welcome to join any session. Please RSVP to Tom or Siri Fiebiger at tfiebiger@gmail.com. Books are available through Redeemer or may be purchased through online booksellers.
