Art Brings a Community Together!

Tuesday, January 27 | 6:00-7:30 pm | Room 218

For anyone looking for a restorative evening or a chance to create in community! Artmaking offers a nonverbal way to process and express complex feelings, reducing our stress and boosting our emotional resilience. It also stimulates our imagination and keeps us feeling young!

This “start-up” art effort is free and open to all. It’s an art class that offers experiences using a variety of art materials. Supplies are provided. You can come and work on your own, selecting materials that you want to work with, or you can participate in a group activity led by retired art teacher Dave Beaman. You do not have to be experienced and there’s no pressure to create a finished piece of art. If you don’t finish your art, you can take it home, along with supplies, and work on it on your own.

If we get good participation, our plan is to offer a monthly class the 4th Tuesday of each month at Nativity (same time and location).
RSVP is helpful for planning materials (but not required). Contact Dave Beaman at dab55418@gmail.com or (call) 612-801-4551.
