Last weekend Nativity celebrated the annual ELCA-wide “God’s Work. Our Hands.” We were happy to welcome new individuals and families, as well as see familiar faces who took part in this annual intergenerational event. Thank you for your generosity and enthusiasm for the donation drives, service projects, and the Shobi’s Table food truck brunch.
Not only did the Nativity community contribute a mountain of needed supplies for children in the community through THE DRAWER drive, you made generous book donations for our Little Justice Library (collection ongoing!) as well as gave your time to the Dragonfly Project packing, Safe House teens, and more! You also helped Nativity raise $750 for Shobi’s Table’s ministry to those experiencing homelessness.
The Ministry Fair demonstrated the incredible commitment to service in the Nativity congregation—and showcased the inspiring variety of ways our community applies their gifts, time, and resources. We thank you for all you do to Live Generously and Love Courageously together!
We’re also grateful for the many staff and volunteers who made this event possible, especially Dr. Kelly Sherman-Conroy, our GWOH organizer. See some highlights from the GWOH Weekend below.
