This year’s theme for our annual Reconciling in Christ (RIC) Weekend is “Resilient Community.” Together we celebrate our progress and affirm the call to keep moving toward the goal of true welcome, inclusion, celebration, and advocacy for LGBTQIA+ people in the life of the church. When we work together in community, we are stronger.
We look forward to enjoying celebratory Pride-themed music and special RIC hospitality as well as an affirming worship message for carrying forward our RIC commitment into the years ahead. In Faith Formation, Nativity’s CYF Director Renee Hoffman will do some age-appropriate awareness building about the weekend, its significance, and our role as a RIC faith community.
