In March 2023, over 80 people gathered to hear JustMove share our collective results for the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) after more than 100 people took the IDI Assessment at Nativity. And now, IDI and JustMove are back!
With Nativity’s mission being “Love God, Love Neighbor,” we’ve done gospel-oriented inclusion work in the past. And now our growth edge is to provide safe entry points for people to explore God’s diversity, aimed at developing continued spiritual growth and social growth. Over the next several months, we’ll host four upcoming learning workshops featuring Dave Scherer from JustMove to provide us with tools for gospel inclusion that explore culture, power, and race with Jesus at the center.

April 6: From Power Over the Power With: Approaching Power with a Christ-Like Model
May 4: From “Same in Christ” to “One in Christ”: Participating in God’s Breach Repairing for All the Nations
June 15: From Trauma to Healing: Metabolizing our Racial Wounds
Be sure to join us on July 19-20 as well when we’ll host Dave Scherer as our guest preacher in worship. He’ll also be hosting an engagement experience to follow on Sunday at 11:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. More details to come.
