Did you know that Nativity awards college scholarships each year? These scholarships are available to any Nativity member attending an ELCA Lutheran college, university, or seminary. You can fill out the application below.

Important Information Regarding Applying

High school seniors must submit a copy of their transcript. Current college students must submit their most recent transcript.

The form must be filled out and submitted (along with transcript/grade report) by the due date: Monday, May 12th, 2025.

Nativity’s Scholarship Endowment

The funds for these scholarships come from interest earned by education-related funds in the church’s Endowment Fund. Most Lutheran colleges have scholarship “match programs,” which stretch our scholarship dollars even further.

Thank you to the families who have set up endowment funds that provide college and seminary scholarships to our Nativity Church community! If you’d like to make a donation to the college scholarship endowment fund, please make your check to Nativity Church, and on the envelope or in the member line, please write “endowment college scholarship.” This is another wonderful way to support our youth.

In order to qualify, a student must be a member of Nativity Lutheran Church and plan to attend or continue study at an ELCA Lutheran college or seminary. Students may be recipients of the award for up to four years.

Completed applications and supporting documents are due by Monday, May 12, 2025, at 11:59 pm.
