Emotions are close to the surface during the holidays. Sometimes called a “Blue Christmas” service, “Time to Be” is a time to step out of the busyness of the season and rest in the light of God’s love. This reflective and meditative worship with Holy Communion honors the flurry of emotions, especially our grief—for loved ones now departed; loved ones unable to be home for Christmas, loved ones emotionally unavailable—and for the deep weariness of our world. Come be the light for each other as we gather in the community of worship.
