Nativity Church lifts up youth experiencing homelessness through our partnership with Lutheran Social Service (LSS).
This weekend Nativity welcomes Kelly Ramer, manager of the SafeHouse (LSS). At all of our services, Kelly will describe the work we support at this LSS emergency shelter for youth experiencing homelessness. Also, Pastor Kathryn Teide, director of church partnerships at Lutheran Social Services, will be delivering the message at all of our services. We are delighted to have both of these leaders return to Nativity to encourage our continued support of young people through the work of Lutheran Social Service.

Last Wednesday, May 16 over thirty people (pictured to the right)from Nativity Church attended the LSS Metro Benefit Lunch for Youth Experiencing Homelessness. Nativity was recognized at this event as a recipient of the prestigious Servant of Christ Award which is awarded to congregations for their exemplary support of Lutheran Social Service. Over $100,000.00 was raised by attendees at the benefit which included our group from Nativity and twenty-five other congregations.
