DESCRIPTION:Let’s celebrate our community in the Saint Anthony Village Fest Parade! There’s a place for everyone as we enjoy a local tradition together on Friday\, Aug. 5\, from 5:30-8:30 pm. \nWe’ll meet at Nativity at 5:30 pm for hot dogs (beef or veggie) and fellowship. We’ll also have t-shirts representing Nativity pride. Since supplies are limited\, we encourage all who have t-shirts from last year to wear those. The parade begins at 7:00 pm at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Please allow some time to park and walk to the staging area\, where we’ll gather for our place in the parade lineup. We’ll have rides for those who need them. \nIf you’ll be joining us for the hot dog cookout\, would like to serve food\, or receive a Nativity t-shirt (supplies are limited)\, or walk/ride in the parade\, please fill out the Tear-Off portion of this weekend’s News to Note\, or email Deacon Kyle at Kyle@NativityChurch.org. \nCan’t join us that night? DESCRIPTION:All youth\, grade 7-12 are invited to join in a simple project to share God’s love with others. We’ll create care packets to be given to the elderly\, grieving\, shut-in’s and others. Why soup? It’s highly nutritious\, a full meal in a single package\, and super yummy!  Do you know someone that could use a bit of tender care? Let us know and please join. \nWhere? Students in grades 7-12 and friends \nRSVP to Heather@nativitychurc.org \nWant an at-home option? \n\nDonate food or money to the food shelf.\nDonate mason jars and/or money for supplies to Nativity c/o Soup for the Soul.\nLet Heather know\, she can provide instructions and supplies.\n\nFood Drive for Local Food Shelves \nIn the month of March\, the Hunger Outreach Team at Nativity with the Student Action Leadership Team (SALT) will host a food and monetary food drive for local food shelves. You’ll find a table in the narthex for food donations. Cash gifts are especially appreciated and can be put in the offering plate or made by donation using Venmo or Paypal. Make checks to Nativity and write Little Kitchen or NEED in the memo line. (One dollar donated can buy $9 in food by pantry staff.)
