SUMMARY:Wednesday Morning Bible Study
DESCRIPTION:This growth group explores the scriptures by asking questions\, looking at current scholarship\, imagining life in ancient times\, and wondering how the Bible is relevant to life and faith today. Several weeks are spent with a specific book such as Life Lessons from Luke\, by Max Lucado; Which Way\, Lord: Exploring Life’s Purpose in the Journeys of Paul\, by Rob Fuquay; and Introducing the New Testament\, by Rev. Anne Robertson. The group is conversational\, and laughter is a valued part of the experience. \nThe group meets every Wednesday\, from 10:00-11:30 am. All are welcome. Two options are available\, Zoom and in person in the Commons. The facilitator is Pat Hendricks\, spiritual director and Nativity’s Coordinator of Vital Aging and Adult Faith Formation. Pat can be reached at bppat127@gmail.com\, or 763-221-8149.

SUMMARY:Sacred Sites Tour
DESCRIPTION:Nativity is offering an opportunity to participate in the Sacred Tour of the Twin Cities on September 28 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The tour will be led by Pastor Jim Bear Jacobs and Nativity’s own Dr. Kelly Sherman-Conway. Times for silence and meditation are included. Please Note: Children high school age or older are appropriate for this tour. \nA suggested donation will be determined under the guidance of our tour leaders. Details on where we will meet will be shared with those who sign up. \nTo sign up or for questions\, please contact Jerry Hoffman at jerjo.hoffman@gmail.com or 763-443-3353.

SUMMARY:Trunk or Treat
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, October 28\, 3:00-5:00 pm \nWe’re looking forward to Nativity’s popular “Trunk or Treat” event! Would you like to help out by hosting a trunk? Email Leah Reddy at Leah@NativityChurch.org for more details. \nOn October 28\, join us in our parking lot (off Belden Drive) for an afternoon of fun and treats. And be sure to invite friends\, family\, and neighbors as well! \nYoung and Old\, come dressed up in your costumes\, and bring a household paper good (tissue\, toilet paper\, paper towel) for Nourish 282. It’s a great event to meet new people\, celebrate together\, and give back to the community. \nWe’re also looking for folks to help out with the event by “hosting” a trunk. If you’d like to host\, we’ll be gathering between 2:15-2:30 for setup. Bring candy for 300 (We did say this was a popular event!) along with some non-food treats if you can. If you’d like to host or trunk or help with treat donations\, contact Leah Reddy at Leah@NativityChurch.org. \nConfirmation students can earn 2 Service Experiences by hosting a trunk. Thank you to the community for supporting this fun event each year.
