DESCRIPTION:Nativity will be offering a Blessing of the Animals on Saturday\, Oct. 1st\, and a special Time with Children on Sunday\, Oct. 2nd. \nJoin us Saturday\, October 1st\, for our annual Blessing of the Animals\, when we take time to bless the beloved animal companions in our lives. We invite you to bring your pets to church after the Saturday 5:30 pm worship. Stuffies and pet photos are also welcome for the blessing! We’ll gather in the Sanctuary for a short message\, fun music\, and animal blessings. \nOn Sunday morning\, Oct. 2\, we’ll be devoting Time with Children to the blessing theme. Children are invited to bring their stuffies and/or pictures of their pets. Parents can also come forward with their children and bring their phones with pictures of their pets for a thanksgiving and blessing.

DESCRIPTION:The Thursday Morning Book Conversations group will resume meeting online beginning September 8th. We study contemporary books on topics that challenge and inform our lives as followers of Jesus. This Thursday we’ll be starting a new book: Freeing Jesus: Rediscovering Jesus as Friend\, Teacher\, Savior\, Lord\, Way\, and Presence by Diana Butler Bass. SUMMARY:VillageFest Parade and Pre-Parade Cookout
DESCRIPTION:Let’s celebrate our community in the Saint Anthony Village Fest Parade! There’s a place for everyone as we enjoy a local tradition together on Friday\, Aug. 5\, from 5:30-8:30 pm. \nWe’ll meet at Nativity at 5:30 pm for hot dogs (beef or veggie) and fellowship. We’ll also have t-shirts representing Nativity pride. Since supplies are limited\, we encourage all who have t-shirts from last year to wear those. The parade begins at 7:00 pm at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Please allow some time to park and walk to the staging area\, where we’ll gather for our place in the parade lineup. We’ll have rides for those who need them. \nIf you’ll be joining us for the hot dog cookout\, would like to serve food\, or receive a Nativity t-shirt (supplies are limited)\, or walk/ride in the parade\, please fill out the Tear-Off portion of this weekend’s News to Note\, or email Deacon Kyle at Kyle@NativityChurch.org. \nCan’t join us that night? Support Nativity by donating bite-sized candy that participants will distribute along the parade route. Donations will be collected at the Nativity Welcome Desk.
