DESCRIPTION:As announced via Nativity email last Sunday\, Pastor Ben has accepted a call to Bethel Lutheran Church in Northfield\, Minnesota. We are very grateful for his years at Nativity. Our community will miss him—and we are excited for this next chapter for him\, Melissa\, and their two girls.  \nWe will celebrate Pastor Ben and his family with an in-worship blessing and farewell reception after all worship hours the weekend of July 15-16. DESCRIPTION:In the spirit of “Love God\, Love Neighbor\,” Nativity continues to strengthen our growing relationship with Redeemer Lutheran in North Minneapolis\, and this summer offers some fun opportunities to gather and connect! \nRedeemer is hosting a series of summer cookouts in their own backyard\, and Nativity will be collaborating to provide meal support and other volunteer help. Everyone at Nativity is invited each Wednesday 6:00-8:00 pm to come enjoy great food and good fellowship\, AND we’re looking for volunteers who can help make two events a welcoming success! \nJune 28th Nativity-Hosted Meal\nOn June 28th Nativity will host the Wednesday meal at Redeemer! We’ll provide pulled pork sandwiches\, and we’re looking for volunteers who can bring sides to share like salads\, fruit\, veggies and drinks. We’re planning for 50 people that night. Connect with Dr. Kelly Sherman-Conroy directly regarding food contributions. \nAugust 12th Block Party\nRedeemer is topping off the summer with a free Block Party\, and Nativity will collaborating with other congregations to host the Kids Zone that evening.
