SUMMARY:Bread for the World Letter Writing Campaign
DESCRIPTION:This month Nativity has observed Hunger Outreach Month\, a month of learning and action around the prevalence of food insecurity and the possibilities of addressing hunger in our community and in the world. \nAfter worship today members from the Hunger Outreach Team will be hosting a letter writing campaign for the international organization Bread for the World. You’ll find them at a table in the Commons. We’ll be writing letters to our Senators and Representatives\, advocating for continued nutrition programs at home and worldwide. Sample letters will be available as well as addresses of legislators. \nLetters we write today\, along with letters from thousands of others who are doing the same this month\, can help convince our nation’s leaders and the world’s leaders to institute or renew policies and programs that have been proven to work in addressing hunger. Join us in taking action and making a difference for those who need our support.
