We study contemporary books on topics that challenge and inform our lives as followers of Jesus. This Thursday we’ll be starting a new book: Freeing Jesus: Rediscovering Jesus as Friend\, Teacher\, Savior\, Lord\, Way\, and Presence by Diana Butler Bass. A personal and provocative look at poverty in America\, the book is shaped around the author’s own engaging stories\, song lyrics\, and personal poems. SUMMARY:LSS Circle Meeting
DESCRIPTION:March 16\, 12:30-2:30 pm | Commons  \nAll women are welcome to attend the LSS Circle meeting. Our meeting begins with a short social time\, brief business meeting\, and a devotion. After that we tie fleece blankets for Camp Noah and Hands and Voices\, two Lutheran Social Service organizations serving families and children. We also color birthday cards for Camp Noah participants. Come enjoy treats\, service\, and fellowship with other women.   \nIf you would like to visit our Circle just to see what we are about\, please feel free to join us!
