Participants prepare for each week’s conversation by a reading assignment in a chosen book.\nIn September our conversations will be stimulated by a book by John Spong\, A New Christianity For A New World. Why Traditional Faith Is Dying & Now A New Faith Is Being Born.\nEach participant is on one’s own to purchase the book. DESCRIPTION:Join us September 11th & 12th for our annual weekend of fun\, fellowship\, and transformation.\nGod’s Work. Our Hands. features something for everyone: regular God’s Work. Our Hands. Themed Worship\, a Kindergarten Backpack Blessing Milestone during Time With Children at 9am and 10:30am\, a Dunk Tank Fundraiser to support the Center for Leadership & Neighborhood Engagement\, Outdoor Family Worship\, and a whole slew of other Children\, Youth\, and Family Activities.\nWe are also having a volunteer appreciation event\, ministry fair\, and a chance to receive a Cup of Grace\, i.e.\, a coffee gift card for signing up to participate in a 1-1 conversation about what is important to you and your family\, as we look to reconnect as a community this fall.\nJoin us\, just as you are\, at church\, or from home.
