Christmas in Christ Chapel 2020 “Healer of the Nations, Come”.

Greetings, everyone! I hope this email finds you all well and doing well.

Our regular monthly “Connect and Communicate” meetings will resume in January 2021.

In place of our December meeting, Nativity Mental Health Connect would like to invite you to enjoy

Christmas in Christ Chapel 2020 “Healer of the Nations, Come”.

In the midst of a global pandemic and ongoing social discord, Christmas in Christ Chapel 2020 “Healer of the Nations, Come”
will proclaim God’s healing presence made manifest in the salvation story, renewing mind and spirit through life–giving music,
dance, spoken word, and visual arts.

Broadcast online on Saturday, December 19 at 7:30 p.m. CST.
The evening of the service, go to the Christmas in Christ Chapel homepage –

Here you will click on WATCH THE BROADCAST. No need to “Register”.

If you are definitely planning to watch, reply with your mailing address, and I will send you a program.

We will be hosting a 30-minute Pre-Party via Zoom beginning at 6:45 p.m. that evening. Details will be sent separately.

To learn more about the dedication and resilience needed to produce a new work in the age of COVID, go to:

From the Gustavus Adolphus College website and blog:
This year, Christmas in Christ Chapel will be like nothing we have done before as the College adapts to the COVID-19 pandemic. The artistic team gathered information on best practices based on extensive scientific research in order to safely offer this time-honored Gustavus tradition.

Instead of the usual live performance, everything would need to be pre-recorded, with people more than six feet apart and masked. Fortunately, the planning committee found a way to do this safely.

It may be the dark days of a pandemic, but Christmas in Christ Chapel will still bring us together to tell the Christmas story, especially when its message is needed most.

This year’s Christmas in Christ Chapel worship service was recorded October 22-25.
