"Germany's Peaceful Revolution"

In 1989, Communism began to fall in Germany. Behind this historic event was the quiet and persistent work of churches, especially the Church of Leipzig (Saxony - Luther & Bach country!). Our Minneapolis Area Synod (a "sister church") and Bishop Craig Johnson were invited to share in the 20th anniversary celebration. Joining the delegation were Mark and Mary Peterson of Nativity. Mark is president of Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota. Along with Pastor Paul Rogers, Mary and Mark will share this story in pictures and words. Join us!
