Summer Faith Formation

Winter Faith Formation - September-May 2010/2011

Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. This class or classes will be multi-aged.

Sundays at 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. (For children ages 3 years to 4th Grade.) Faith formation time begins with family in worship. Following the Time With Children, the children are dismissed to go to their respective classes for a learning time of 45 minutes.

All classes are introduced to Bible stories or concepts (such as Baptism, Pentecost, etc.) through activities that are explorative and "hands-on". Second - 4th graders learn the stories through themes on a rotation basis. A story may be experienced through art, cooking, computer or a video. Three year olds - 1st grade learn Bible stories through the use of The Beginner's Bible.

During worship time, there are Toddler Bags and Faith Boxes for use. These are filled with quiet toys, color sheets, books and Bibles. These are available in the commons area.

Sundays at 11:30 a.m. - 12:56 p.m. and 4:50 - 5:56 p.m. Club 56 for 5th and 6th Graders.
