Bundle up on Saturday, Dec. 3. for a Twin Cities holiday tradition – the Holidazzle parade. See story book characters come to life during the 30 minute parade that travels down Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis. The 40U group invites all ages (birth to 100) to join in. Just remember to dress warm and in layers! We will board the bus at 5:30pm in the west parking lot (off Belden).  A free will offering will offset the bus expense.  The parade starts at 6:30pm and the bus should return by 7:45pm.  Look at www.holidazzle.com for more information. First Communion Class Dates
Part 1: Sunday, April 3rd, 4-6 p.m.
Part 2: Sunday, April 10th, 4-6 p.m.
Part 3: Sunday, April 17th, 4-6 p.m.
Seder Meal, Wednesday, April 20th, 6:30–9 p.m.
First Communion during Maundy Thursday Service, Thursday, April 21st, 7 p.m.

 Note to parents: The First Communion Class is for children and their parents. Families attend all 3 classes, the Seder Meal and the Maundy Thursday Worship Service. The class is recommended for children who are in Grades 2 – 5.

Parents of 5th graders who have not previously participated in the First Communion Class will receive a letter in March inviting them to register.  To sign up for the 1st Communion program, please contact Tori Setterholm at 612-781-2766 or tsetterholm@nativitychurch.org

I’m pleased to announce the 3rd Annual Nativity Skiers and Boarders trip the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Again we have chosen Big Powderhorn ski resort for the weekend of March 4 and 5, 2011.  Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort has been recognized for the second year in a row as having the “Best Downhill Terrain” in the Midwest by OnTheSnow.com, the web’s most visited snow skiing site. Visitors named us “Most Family-Friendly Resort” and “Best Downhill Terrain” in the Midwest and ranked Big Powderhorn #2 Overall in Michigan in 2009 and “Best Downhill Terrain” in 2010!

The cost for two night lodging only is $95.00.

Lift tickets will be purchased at the resort.

  • Adult (18-64)  2-day lift $72.00
  • Junior (10-17) 2-day lift $58.00
  • Child (7-9) 2-day lift $60.00

This is an inter-generational trip which means that singles, families, young adults, and seniors are welcome to participate.
