YEAR ROUND BIBLE STUDIES

Wednesday AM Bible Study
If you are looking for a group that gathers year-round for prayer and the study and discussion of scripture, this group meets Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Class is led by Marilyn Eberlein. The current study is Paul's Prison Letters. Consider those New Testament books that the apostle Paul wrote while he was in prison, beginning with Philippines. This is often referred to as the "Book of Joy" and has added meaning when you consider Paul's circumstance at the time - a prison cell in Rome! Join this study to look for added Joy in our lives today - through Paul's words.

Adult Book and Bible Study
This book and Bible study meets every other Sunday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. A book or Bible study is chosen by the group. Contact Sherry Truchinski for information.

Bible Basics Course
The Bible Basics course, led by Pastor Dan Doerrer, will provide an overview of how particular types of literature in scripture may function or may be used. It will examine the general historical context in which the inspired authors composed the Old and New Testament. The course will also outline the basic characters, story lines, and themes of the Bible. This seven week course will provide an introduction or review of the basic background information that helps one find meaning and inspiration through the use of scripture. The weekly course will not require a fee, but we ask that those participating register with Pastor Dan because space might be limited. It will begin September 28 and will be offered once a week from 7:00-8:30 p.m. until November 9.
